PLEASE NOTE: All NOTEBOOKS and LOOSE-LEAF PAPER MUST be WIDE-RULED (no college-ruled). Every student (K- 8) must have a book bag to carry to and from school each day.
We have asked the teachers for some ideas on what your children will need for the coming school year. We hope this will be of help to parents.
Kindergarten
Please label all items. A BEACH TOWEL or small blanket for rest time. A check for $10 for daily classroom snacks (checks payable to M.A. Newark), 2 boxes Tissues, 24 pack crayons, glue sticks, pencils, (1) 5 subject notebook (journal), highlighter, pencil supply box, wet wipes, (1) hand sanitizer (medium size), backpack, (1)“important papers” folder.
Grade 1
1) small box of 8 crayons. One 2-pocket folder for take home papers (replace as needed). Package of plain #2 pencils to be shared, (1) eraser. One bottle hand sanitizer, 4 boxes of Tissues with lotion, one Clorox wipes and one baby wipes. One pair school scissors, 4 glue sticks, and large stretchy book cover. $2.00 per month for snack and special day activities ($20 to cover the entire year). Please make check payable to Diana Embser.
Grade 2
One 2” binder, (1) folder with three holes to be inserted in the binder, (2) one subject notebooks, (1) two-pocket folder, (1) eraser, (6) glue sticks, (1) bottle liquid glue, (1) package washable markers, (2) highlighters, (3) boxes of Kleenex, (2) baby wipes, (2) hand sanitizers, (1)-24 count box crayons. No mechanical pencils.
Grade 3
(6) glue sticks, markers, (2) bottles glue, scissors, #2 pencils, erasable pens, highlighter, 24 count crayons, (2) wide-ruled spiral notebooks, (6) two-pocket folders, ruler, pencil pouch or box, (2) boxes of tissues, (1) antibacterial wipes, (1) antibacterial hand sanitizer, (6) large book covers, $10.00 to cover the snacks for the year.
Grade 4
(1) five subject notebook, (1) one subject notebook, (2) two-pocket folders, erasable pens, ruler (inches & centimeters), (1) box crayons, school glue, protractor and (3) packages ruled paper, (4) - #2 pencils, (3) boxes of Tissues, (2) boxes of baby wipes, and scissors.
Grade 5
One plastic 2-pocket folder, (3) one subject notes (70 count/wide ruled), (3) two-pocket folders, blue or black erasable pens, ruler (inches and centimeters), (2) glue sticks, (1) pair scissors, (2) boxes tissues, (1) box baby wipes, highlighters (yellow, blue, green, pink), (5) book covers, (2) packs wide ruled line paper. $10.00 for snacks, etc. (please make checks payable to Tammy Blouvet).
